“Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody” – Kid President
Experience: I have worked in Salem-Keizer Public Schools for over 20 years in various roles and locations. My experiences have given me a wide range of knowledge and skills to work with diverse populations with many different backgrounds. I LOVE working with students and their families and to provide support and encouragement as many of our students need. I have learned that simply caring for kids, seeing, and caring for them makes a big difference in the life of a child. Education: I received my BS in Social Science and minoring in both Sociology and Child & Family Studies at Portland State University. I am currently in the Master’s in School Counseling program at Oregon State University. Personal: I have two grown children, and two bonus grown children. I love to spend time with my kids, my husband, and my Saint Bernard, a cat and bunny. My hobbies include baking, creating, gardening, building things, and shopping! [email protected] |

Whether it's to People, Places, Things, or even Ideas, we all need connection and sometimes it's difficult to find the right fit. I LOVE to help people find where they "fit." Northwest Christian University helped me find my fit when I received my Masters in School Counseling a few years ago. [email protected] |
